DBT for Adults
Many people come to therapy wanting a “handbook” for how to change their lives. This DBT-informed group is facilitated in an affirming space where participants will learn skills designed to help you enact long-term change in your life. For this reason, it is recommended that group members participate in individual therapy alongside group therapy.

This LGBTQ-affirming DBT-informed group is open to adults aged 19+. Prior to participation, each registrant will be contacted and scheduled for a 5-10 minute screening call to determine appropriateness for the group.
To participate, individuals must commit to:
- Attending to weekly meetings,
- Practicing skills in between each session, and
- Building a life worth living.
This program consists of twelve 90-minute sessions. Each session takes place on Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-6:00pm at Kindred Psychology, beginning March 14 2023.
Please use the link below to register.
Kindred Psychology’s Shelbi Bretz will serve as the facilitator for this group.
The fee per session is $25, to be paid promptly at each meeting or in full upon beginning.
We want your mental health to be a priority. If this fee arrangement is not feasible for you, please reach out to our program director to discuss potential sliding scale accommodations.
