Gender Diverse Support Group for Young Children

*Currently on hiatus in 2023*

Is your child exploring their gender identity? Do they identify as transgender or gender-diverse?

At Kindred Psychology, we know that parenting a gender-diverse child can be lonely and confusing at times. We invite your little ones to join our group for gender-diverse young children, to build support and community for your kiddo and your family. For ages 5-11 (elementary age).

This is not a therapy group, and there is no cost to attend. Rather, this support group provides an affirming space for participants to understand identities, build relationships, a sense of community, and share medical and educational resources with one another. There is a separate meeting for parents of gender-diverse youth, which meets on Monday evenings. More information about the parent/guardian meeting can be found here. These support groups are facilitated by Steph Engelbart, MSW LICSW.

Advance registration and proof of COVID vaccination & booster required.
