Sara Searsy, M.S. (she/her/hers) graduated in 2023 from the Masters of Science Counseling Program at Angelo State University. Sara joined Kindred Psychology as a clinician-in-training to complete additional clinical hours specializing in working with LGBTQ+ populations. Based in Texas, Sara offers Telehealth services to individuals in the state of Nebraska under the supervision of Nicole Lozano, PhD LIMHP. Sara’s warm, nonjudgmental style helps clients feel at ease as they explore life adjustments, mind-body connections, identity, belonging, and faith. Her clinical works draws from client-centered therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy tailored to each client’s needs. Her priority is cultivating trust and understanding within the therapeutic relationship.

Sara believes in the importance of being for and with people, with emphasis on the idea that people have the innate ability to create change in ways that will be fulfilling for them. She strives to help clients find their own strengths and values. It is Sara’s goal to help clients develop hope in their own lives, so that they can grow toward their best selves.

Fee & Payment Arrangements

Sara accepts clients on pro-bono and sliding fee scale bases as she is not yet in-network with insurance companies. Please contact Courtney for more information.
