Community Group

A space where we are all Kindred.

Kindred Psychology’s Community Group was created out of a desire for a queer and trans friendly community event that can reach many audiences and serve many purposes. In alignment with our mission to provide inclusive and affirming counseling services, this group combines mental health with community care and advocacy. From workshops to psychoeducation to collaborations with other organizations, this recurring event will feature a new topic each meeting and be hosted by Kindred Psychology staff.

Unlike traditional therapy or support groups, there is no participation requirement or expectation of HIPAA-compliant confidentiality. Instead, we welcome folks to any or all of the meetings that are of interest!

The intention of each event is to highlight a topic or issue that impacts members of our community, equipping attendees with information, resources, and ways to connect further.
