New EHRIntroducing IntakeQ!

Effective September 1st, 2023, Kindred Psychology is utilizing IntakeQ as our new Electronic Health Record (EHR) with secure client portal. If you are a current client, you will be receiving an email and/or text message in the coming days with a link to register. 

Our new portal incorporates the same features as our previous platform, including a list of upcoming appointments, links to Telehealth appointments, secure messaging, and access to billing documents. In addition, IntakeQ provide more self-service options, such as cancelling an appointment or requesting to reschedule. We are excited to offer our clients a more streamlined way to change appointment times. More information about this process will be provided in the coming weeks. The Transition

  • IntakeQ utilizes a different electronic clearinghouse for insurance claims processing than our previous platform. Consequently, insurance processing and invoicing will be delayed. Self-pay clients will still pay for sessions at the time of service.

Accessing the Client Portal

  • Clients will use IntakeQ in their mobile browser, not an app.
  • Access Chrome, Safari, or Edge on your phone, tablet, or computer.
  • Next, visit the following site: kindredpsych.intakeq.com/portal. Voila!
  • Bookmark this link for easy access and for future use.   

Patience and Cooperation

Transitioning to a new system will require patience and cooperation. We expect there will hiccups and oopsie-daisies along the way as we all learn the system and refine our new processes. Please be patient with our learning curve. We are confident that everyone – clients, clinicians, and staff – will all work together to make the transition as smooth as possible.
