Gender Diverse Support Group for Adolescents

Are you an adolescent exploring your gender identity?

Are you the parent or guardian of a gender-diverse adolescent?

At Kindred Psychology, we know this can be a lonely and confusing time. We invite you to join our support group for gender-diverse adolescents and their parents.

This is not a therapy group, and there is no cost to attend. Rather, this support group provides an affirming space for participants to understand identities, build relationships, a sense of community, and share medical and educational resources with one another. Parents/guardians and adolescents meet separately, on alternating weeks. This support group is facilitated by Steph Engelbart, MSW LICSW.

New! Additional adolescent group added! Due to community demand, we will be adding a second adolescent meeting into the rotation. Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, adolescents will NOT be able to participate in both meetings. A sign-up will be sent via email at the beginning of each month for parents and teens to mark their attendance for one meeting or the other. It will be first come first serve. As much as we would love to see all of you more than once a month, we want to ensure that others have the option to attend. Physical space restrictions prevent us from hosting more than 20 individuals at once.
