Gender Diverse Support Group for Adolescents
Is your adolescent exploring gender identity?
At Kindred Psychology, we know this can be a lonely and confusing time for you and your kid. We invite your teen to join our support group for transgender or gender-diverse (TGD) teens! No matter where they’re at in their gender journey – they are welcome!
Special topics will be discussed at each meeting, from gender identity and gender expression, to sharing your special interests, to building social skills and navigating social dynamics. Games, crafts, snacks, and activities are always welcome! Want to bring a friend? Just make sure they register first 🙂
Note: if you are a teenager wanting to participate, please have your parent or guardian complete this form for you!
This is not a therapy group, and there is no cost to attend. Rather, this support group provides an affirming space for participants to understand identities, build relationships, a sense of community, and share medical and educational resources with one another. Each group meets once a month and is facilitated by Kindred Psychology clinicians.
Note: if you or another family member is looking for support for your gender diverse child, check out our support group for families of gender-diverse folks!
Advanced registration is required. Register below! Afterwards, you will be directed to the registration completion page, where you can view the corresponding group agreement and sign up for our email list. Once your signed group agreement has been submitted, you will receive an email from us to confirm your registration and share meeting details with you. This form is the starting place to get connected. If you have additional questions, please send a message to our program director.
