Resources

We believe in personal empowerment.

Knowledge and information are necessary to help develop self-awareness and skills. However, when it comes to sensitive topics like mental health, identity development, and sexuality, it can be challenging to know what resources are credible. To help, we have compiled some of our favorite resources for specific practice areas. We share many of these resources with clients in therapy when appropriate. You’ll also find content relating to social justice topics, as we know many broader cultural changes are necessary to improve everyone’s mental health and well-being. We offer these resource suggestions to provide you with useful knowledge to discover a deeper understanding of yourself and the world.

(Please note that these resources are not intended to replace consultation with a clinician. Accessing these resources does not constitute a therapeutic relationship or a professional referral from Kindred Psychology. We offer this information for personal empowerment and community education purposes only.)

Texts marked with an * are available at Lincoln City Libraries.
